Travis Ganong is an American alpine ski racer from Lake Tahoe, California. He was born on July 14, 1988. Ganong competes in the speed events of downhill and super-G on the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup circuit. He made his World Cup debut in 2010 and has since achieved multiple podium finishes.
Ganong is known for his aggressive and fearless style of skiing, earning him the nickname "Wild Child." He has represented the United States at the Winter Olympics and has also competed in the World Championships. Ganong is considered one of the top American skiers in the speed disciplines and has a dedicated fan following.
